The Damenchor Wald-Echo presents its Fall Concert with guest chorus Franklinville-Schwarzwald Männerchor on Sunday Nov. 10th, 4:00 pm, at the beautiful Vereinigung Erzgebirge Club in Warminster, PA. The Damenchor will perform choral music of Schubert, Mendelssohn, Silcher, Bortniansky as well as settings of German Volkslieder with guest yodeler Maria Ammann and popular songs. Barron Lacy accompanies and Jacqueline Smith conducts at the beautiful VE Club, nestled on 68 acres of forestry that resembles the Erzgebirge region of Germany.
This unique and always popular concert features the only all-women’s and all-men’s German choruses in the Philadelphia area. After the concert, the region’s sought-after accordionist Don Bitterlich accompanies dancing. Food and drink are available for purchase, and there is a full bar.
